Why Your Visit Is Worth It
The focus of the show falls on the regional needs so it’s smaller and a lot more localized. It offers the perfect opportunity to gain access to your target audience. The main reason to attend is to make purchases, so you are in the perfect position to generate sales leads. The numbers are certainly in favor of exhibitors:
• 320 international exhibitors show their products
• 20,000 international visitors attend on average
• 37,000+ sq. metres of exhibition space are used
Agrarmesse Alpen-Adria has achieved a lot in its short time since its first edition back in 2003 and serves as a major procurement platform for farmers in Austria, Slovenia, Italy and Germany. The event is usually held in late January every two years at Messe Klagenfurt in Klagenfurt, Austria. The exhibition has six distinct sectors – classic farming, agriculture 4.0, biodynamic farming, animal husbandry, meat processing, and direct marketing, farm shops & viticulture. Together they give farmers a full view of how agriculture and animal farming is changing. Not just in general but specific to the Alpine-Adriatic region. One of the big highlights is, of course, the Innovation Conference, which invites farmers and experts changing the industry as a whole.
Who Are You Going to Meet?
The target audience for this exhibition is farmers as well as farm employees and workers, holiday-on-the-farm hosts and direct marketers. It’s where new machinery and equipment is being shown and demonstrated in action. However, Agrarmesse Alpen-Adria also helps the new generation get a sense of what agriculture looks like today. There are a lot of young farmers and students from agricultural schools in attendance. Last but not least, we also have to mention officials. You will be able to meet with employees of agricultural chambers and members of the provincial and federal authorities of the Alpine-Adriatic region. They all come to see the great variety of exhibitors like PIONEER HI-BRED NORTHERN EUROPE SALES DIVISON GMBH, LOBNIG GEORG Landtechnik and BAUER GMBH Röhren- und Pumpenwerk.
