The Latest Event News

Fashion professionals are already ramping up to attend Premiere Vision 2023. You will be happy to know the celebrated fashion event is returning to its regular slot in early February. The official dates have been set for the period 02.07.2024-04.07.2024. If you cannot attend the live portion, you can attend the digital week. Going for a hybrid approach has allowed organisers to include everyone in the fashion industry, even those who cannot travel. The exhibition grounds at Paris Nord Villepinte will serve as the hosting site for the event. Due to the removal of the domestic restrictions, attendees will not be required to follow any mandatory safety protocols, such as the 3G policy, upon arrival at the venue.

Why Your Visit Is Worth It

The initial cost to have a booth at Premiere Vision is a small price to pay in comparison to what you can gain in sales leads and prestige. The trade fair’s main purpose is to facilitate purchases and the main advantage is the opportunity to break into new international markets. Attendance at Premiere Vision is solid even during the pandemic:

  • 9 product areas
  • 1200+ international exhibitors
  • 50 countries
  • 5 continents
  • 40,000+ products
  • 60,000+ international trade visitors

Industry Relevance

Based in Paris, France, Premiere Vision keeps its fingers on the pulse of fashion trends and creates the perfect conditions for exhibitors to meet, connect and win over buyers from all over the world. The biennial event is held in February and September and showcases the entire supply chain from fabrics, yarns and designs to leather, accessories, manufacturing and sustainability technologies.

There are 9 universes on the exhibition floor, which curate the entire wealth of products - Première Vision Yarns (yarns & fibers), Première Vision Fabrics (clothing fabrics), Première Vision Leather (leather & fur), Première Vision Designs (textile design & surface creation), Première Vision Accessories (accessories & components), Première Vision Manufacturing (manufacturing fashion) and Première Vision Manufacturing – Leather (leather clothing, bag & shoe manufacturing). Most recently, organisers have featured additional, specialised areas called Maison d’Exceptions for ultra-creativity and Smart Creation Area for responsible creation and fashion tech.

What’s special about this trade fair is that all suppliers have been screened by a team and only the best have been selected to represent the trade fair. It’s no surprise to learn then that Premiere Vision has extended to Turkey, the United States and China. Aside from sales, there’s added value in the Digital Talks series, Fanciful Flair, PV Awards and Hyères Festival.

Premiere Vision takes the current climate crisis seriously and since the fashion industry is one of the major polluters on a global scale, the trade fair has vowed to become more sustainable. On one hand this is done through the showcasing of exhibitors that are pioneering green solutions. On the other, organisers work towards decreasing its environmental footprint with every edition. The motto is Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Who Are You Going to Meet?

The bulk of visitors are buyers, designers of ready-to-wear brands and accessories, luxury houses and fashion company executives. But then there are specialists for each product area. The Fashion Manufacturing area is particularly suited for production managers and buying heads for fashion, lingerie, sports and accessories brands. The Yarns and Fibers area is best suited for weavers and knitters of value-added textiles.

It’s important to point out just how many visitors are travelling from abroad – 75% of all attendees. In terms of exhibitors, you have companies from all continents and countries like Morocco, Germany, India, Taiwan, Russia, South Korea, China, Argentina, the Netherlands, Brazil, Canada and Egypt. Examples of brands are Aditya Birla Yarn, Lucky Tex, MTLSTYLE, Davina Nathan Design and Kopenhagen Fur.

Additional Value of Attending

Innovation lives at the Smart Creation Area, where visitors discover an impressive lineup of new start-ups and companies that are breaking ground when it comes to ethical and more responsible type of fashion. You’ll discover materials, solutions and services from 30 exhibitors working in the field of fashion technology. While on the subject of eco-responsible fashion, the show has added an educational and interactive circuit in Hall 6. Here visitors have the opportunity to learn the finer points of eco-responsible fashion information. The show is both informative and practice oriented.

The pause during the pandemic has given organisers ample opportunities to expand their services and improve the experience of trade visitors. The first big addition is the Fashion Information Desk that helps visitors organise their visit. A team of consultants and fashion experts is there every day to assist, answer questions and guide them through the exhibition floor, so that they can source everything they need.

Emerging brands can direct their attention towards the Emerging Brands Desk. This service helps young brands navigate the show as first timers, who don’t know what is where and how to get the most out of their visit. The desk staff do everything in their power to empower buyers in their work towards building their collections. These desks are of great benefits to exhibitors as well given how they generate a lot more deliberate foot traffic.

Premiere Vision is known for its information programme, but it can be daunting to keep everything in mind when attending the trade show. That’s why the show’s fashion team is set to provide trade visitors with guided tours of the Essentials (Hall 6) & Eco-innovation (Hall 4) forums. Buyers will receive necessary help to find the right suppliers. Guided tours require prior reservation and only 15 spots are available. Tours are provided in four languages – French, English, German and Italian. Each tour lasts 45 minutes.
