The All-Russia Exhibition Centre is one of Moscow’s peculiar event locations. It is a permanent general-purpose amusement park and trade show venue in the capital of Russia. It is in the Ostankinsky District of the metropolis. The exhibition centre was constructed circa 1935-1929 and renovated between 1948-1959. The All-Russia Exhibition Centre has about 2375000 m2 of space with 266000 m2 dedicated to events. The venue has one main entrance marked by a 32-metre arched gate. The gate was built in 1954 and is decorated by a statue and several reliefs. The venue in total 9 pavilions used for exhibitions. Among them is the Worker and Kolkhoz Woman Pavilion, known as such for the two statues on the top of the building. Another notable pavilion is the Exhibition and Trade Centre of the republic of Azerbaijan, named after one of republics which comprised the Soviet Union.
