Among the USA’s largest event venues is the Colorado Convention Centre. It is a massive complex with 2043867 m² of total space and 88 meeting areas. It is situated in the Downtown area of Denver, Colorado State. The venue opened in 1990 and expanded in 2005 with a second expansion anticipated to take place soon. The venue hosts over 400 events with notable ones including the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market.
The Colorado Convention Centre is an impressive complex. It has a total of 88 flexible meeting spaces with 12 of them being lobbies while another 63 are meeting rooms. Additionally, the venue has 4 outdoor terraces, 6 exhibition halls, and an amphitheatre. There are also 2 ballrooms. The event complex opened in 1990 with its initial meeting areas consisting of 1 exhibition hall, a ballroom and 5 meeting rooms. In 2005 the venue received an expansion which resulted into its current dimensions. The venue has a total of 82757 m2 of event space and a capacity of 18532 people. A second expansion is expected to take place between 2020 and 2022. At present the venue has 1000 parking spaces.
