Congress Centrer Rosengarten

Congress Center Rosengarten is an Art nouveau congress centre in Mannheim, Germany. It consists of 44 halls with a total square space of over 22 000 m2. It received the 2018 Location Award for being one of the most outstanding venues in Germany. Because of the diverse advantages it provides, the Rosengarten is popular as an event location. Noteworthy examples include the Congress for Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine. The DGOI Impact Dental Leaders is also held here. Likewise, the International Specialist Congress on Plastics in Automotive Engineering is hosted at the venue. Similarly, the Congress for Laboratory Medicine and Actuator are held at the site.

 

Mannheimer Rosengarten was constructed between 1900 and 1903. The Art nouveau Architectural design was created by Bruno Schmitz. At first, the congress centre had only one main hall which could seat about 2300 guests. However, after an extensive renovation in 2007, the venue has 44 halls with a total square space of over 22 000 m2. This allows the centre to accommodate up to 9000 attendees. The renovation also updated certain features of the rooms. This includes adding light flooding to the halls and installing state-of-the-art equipment. In 2018, the Congress Center was awarded the Location Award. The venue has a convenient location as it is about 45 minutes' car ride from Frankfurt Airport. Similarly, the venue is about 15 minutes’ walk from Mannheim Central Station.
