The venue is visited by around 600 000 visitors every year and hosts many notable public and corporate events. Such include the Blickfang Fair for instance.

The Liederhalle or Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Liederhalle is a historical venue. The foundation and construction of the complex took place in 1864. During this time, the venue received its name and was a popular location for the hosting of concerts. Yet, the building of the venue was destroyed in 1943. This led to the need for a new building, which was built in 1956. The venue has been extended and renovated in 1991 and 2019. After its renovations, the venue has 17 meeting areas. All areas have flexible space and modern amenities. The venue additionally has 2,120 underground parking spaces.
