About The Venue

The Pennsylvania Convention Centre is one of Philadelphia’s leading event venues. It is a distinctive L-shaped event complex consisting of 50 meeting areas. It is a multi-purpose event venue constructed and inaugurated in 1993. The venue was renovated and expanded in 2011. It has a total event space of 966355 ft2 and a capacity of 70936 people. The convention centre  is a popular hosting location in both the USA and the world.  Notable events include the EastPack and the Atlantic Design & Manufacturing.

The Pennsylvania Convention Centre was constructed and opened in 1993. It was built as a substitute for the previous event venue known as the Philadelphia Civic Centre. This was necessary as the previous location could not provide the required space. The venue received an expansion in 2011 which further increased the available spaces. The venue has 50 meeting areas which including 40 meeting rooms and 8 exhibition halls. Additionally, the Pennsylvania Convention Centre has 2 ballrooms. All 50 meeting areas are flexible. This includes being able to combine with others. It furthermore includes the option of dividing them into smaller sections.
