Why Your Visit Is Worth It
YIWUTEX cultivates robust business connections and provides access to the entire Chinese textile sector, which is one of the biggest producers of clothing and textile in the world. Foreign suppliers and manufacturers are highly sought after, which translates to a higher increase in sales numbers and meetings for you. It’s worth attending YIWUTEX, because you’re able to grow a network in a hard-to-reach market and have an easy time generating sales leads.
Combined with its sister event, the trade fair attracts a substantial audience. The numbers from the last live edition say everything:
- 180 exhibitors
- 11,700+ trade visitors
- 7 industry associations
- 44 famous enterprises sent delegations
- 10,000 sq. metres for exhibition space
YIWUTEX marks a new era for the Chinese textile industry, which has been undergoing a period of rapid expansion and modernization. Previously, YIWUSEW was just a component of the larger Zhejiang Textile Expo until organisers chose to establish two contemporary trade fairs to support the thriving textile industry in Yiwu. This led to the creation of the China Yiwu International Trade Fair for Functional Yarn & Knitting & Hosiery Machinery and its co-located event the China Yiwu International Trade Fair for Sewing & Digital Printing Machinery (YIWUSEW).
Exhibiting at YIWUTEX is a wise decision as the region serves as the starting point of China's New Silk Road and its strategic location cannot be overlooked. Yiwu is also notable for the high concentration of freight railway routes linking to European countries. These include Madrid (Spain), Tehran (Iran), Chelyabinsk (Russia), Mazari Sharif (Afghanistan), Riga (Latvia), Minsk (Belarus), and London (United Kingdom).
YIWUTEX offers a 360-degree overview of yarn, knitting and hosiery technologies, which are the building blocks of clothing and household textile manufacturing. The trade fair explores all the exciting advancements made in a dynamic environment. YIWUTEX is the perfect platform to source new products and create buzz, especially when it comes to new product releases. You’ll discover the following product categories:
- Seamless Underwear Machinery
- Knitting and Hosiery Machinery
- Flat and Warp Knitting Machinery
- Knitting and Hosiery Finishers, Packaging Machinery
- Machinery for Winding, Texturing and Twisting
- Functional Textile Auxiliaries and Master Batch

Today Yiwu is home to several major textile manufacturing hubs. Over 1400 hosiery enterprises in the area employ over 100,000 people. As an exhibitor, you'll interact with both skilled workers and professionals in managerial positions. A significant portion of visitors are decision makers in their own right, who attend in order to research emerging technologies and make direct orders.
YIWUSEW and YIWUTEX are the preferred choice for major manufacturers to showcase their products and connect with both local and international buyers.
