About The Venue

Among Harrogate's leading event venues is the Great Yorkshire Showground. It is a premier show ground located on the outskirts of the city and consists of 250 acres of green space. The show ground has an approximate capacity of 45032 visitors per day and around 5 meeting areas. It is visited annually by around 1 million people. The show ground became the permanent event location of the Great Yorkshire Show in 1951. Besides the mentioned show, the venue also hosts the Harrogate Flower Show. It furthermore presents the Northern Shooting Show. 

The Great Yorkshire Showground has 250 acres of green space and 5 meeting areas. These include the mentioned 250 acres of outdoor space. There is also 6,270m2 of flexible event space. It is distributed between 2 exhibition halls and 2 covered pavilions.  The covered pavilions can serve as outdoor space. The show ground has around 2000 parking spaces. It also has flexible space and modern amenities both indoors and outdoors.
