The Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre is one of the city's leading event venues. It was founded in 1975 and consists of 58 000 m2 of event space distributed between 47 meeting areas. The venue has an approximate capacity of 70 000 visitors. It hosts over 100 events every year and is visited by over 68 000 attendees every year. Among the notable examples are the PulPec and MATKA fairs.

The Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre consists of 47 meeting areas. These include 7 exhibition halls with various capacities. For instance, Hall 7 is the largest of the mentioned areas as it has 14700 m2 of available space. Halls 2 and 3 are the opposite, as they are the smallest of the exhibition halls. Similar is the situation with the 40 meeting areas of the venue, which vary in capacity. All areas of the venue have modern amenities as well as flexibility.
