About The Venue
Among Scandinavia's largest assembly areas is the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre. It is a premier venue located in Gothenburg, Sweden with a total space of 181000 m2 of 50000 m2 are meeting space. The congress centre is visited by around 2 million visitors per year. It is a venue owned and managed by the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Foundation. The venue was built and inaugurated in 1918. Since its opening it has been the hosting site of several important events. These include Traohteknik, Evertiq and VECS.
 
The Svenska Mässan is one of Gothenburg’s notable exhibition and convention centres. It is also among Europe’s largest and fully integrated hotel and congress facilities. The complex consists of 9 exhibition halls, a congress hall, and 60 meeting rooms. It also has 5 bars, the Gothia Towers hotel and 8 restaurants. The venue opened on the 8th of July 1918 and has been renovated twice and expanded three times. The complex can accommodate up to 8800 delegates on 50000 m2 of meeting space.
