Tarrant Hinton

Tarrant Hinton is a small, picturesque, quiet rural parish and village in Dorset County, UK. It is a small town with a population of 160 inhabitants and roots in medieval history. Founded in 935, this small rural village is visited every year by more than 200000 people. This is courtesy of this picturesque parish being the hosting location of several noteworthy business events. Such include for instance the Great Dorset Steam Fair.

Despite Tarrant Hinton’s relatively small size and population the village has a history that dates to medieval times. The small town was first mentioned in 935 when Athelstan granted the local abbey lands. Since then, the village has existed in one form or another. The small town is a popular destination for many events including business ones.  The village has several important meeting areas which are also heritage sites. These include St. Mary’s Church, the Village Hall, and the Langdon Arms Inn. The village has ample parking space both within the small town and around it. Tarrant Hinton can be reached with ease from Bournemouth International Airport and Bournemouth Train Station.
