1. AAPEX (Las Vegas, Nevada)

Are you a fan of American driving culture and want to see what the United States contributes to the automotive sector? If so, you've probably heard of AAPEX (AUTOMOTIVE AFTERMARKET PRODUCTS EXPO) held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada. And if you haven't, listen up because this expo is the definitive event in the US and a leader worldwide.

AAPEX has established itself as a key player in the automotive aftermarket, where exhibitors are always at the forefront of innovation from 3D printing applications and big data to body repair, exhaust systems, performance chemicals, and connected car solutions. It's no wonder that more than 2,500 exhibitors regularly return to serve the over 158,000 visitors flocking to the show.

One thing that places AAPEX firmly on the map is its focus on sustainable technologies. The event aims to minimise the industry’s environmental impact throughout the production chain, making it an excellent example of the industry's move towards a greener future. But AAPEX isn't just about showcasing products. The expo offers exceptional lectures, events, and workshops like AAPEX Mobility Garage and Technology of Tomorrow, giving visitors a chance to learn about the latest trends in the automotive industry.

2. Automechanika Frankfurt (Frankfurt, Germany)

Automechanika Frankfurt is a brand that needs no introduction. This biennial international fair is a force to be reckoned with having launched sister events in 13 countries. The trade fair dominates when it comes to attendance. The previous edition boasted an impressive 4843 exhibitors from 76 countries and 132,944 trade visitors from 170 countries in the last edition alone. Automechanika Frankfurt is a recognized brand that's been around since 1971.

What makes Automechanika Frankfurt special is its format that tracks the full process chain. You are able to survey finished products, parts, and point-of-sales right down to recycling and disposal. The product portfolio is extensive, featuring everything from automotive electronics and body repair to lubricants and vehicle parts.

But what really sets Automechanika Frankfurt apart is the stacked support programme. One of the most interesting items is the Innovation4Mobility special show, which focuses on electromobility, hydrogen, alternative fuels, software & operating systems, digitalisation, and autonomous driving. The show features new product presentations and a start-up area where new companies can present themselves to potential investors.

The Automechanika Academy hosts lectures, talks, and discussions that cover the full spectrum of trends. The organisers are proud to announce the return of Remanufacturing Day, which focuses on minimising environmental impact through sustainable technologies throughout the production chain.
