About The Venue
One of Bremen’s most notable event venues is the Messe Bremen, or Bremen Exhibition Centre. It is a modern venue with a capacity of 21,150 people. It consists of 40,000 m2 of covered event space. This space is distributed between 9 meeting areas. The hosting site also has 2,850 parking spaces as well as several restaurants. The venue was constructed shortly after the conclusion of an architectural competition held between 1995 and 1997. Since its opening and inauguration, the Messe Bremen has been hosting over 112 events per year. Some notable ones include Breakbulk Europe and Fish International.

9 meeting areas comprise the meeting space of the Bremen Exhibition Centre. These include 6 exhibition/conference halls and the OVB arena. The venue was constructed in 1997 after the conclusion of an architectural competition held between 1995 and 1997. The design is based on the plans of Gert Schulze and the planning group Hagg, von Ohlen, Rüffer and Partner. In 1998, the project and the building received the BDA Bremen Prize. The venue is a 10-minute drive from Bremen Airport.
