The Venetian Expo

Among Paradise's leading event venues is the Sands Expo Convention Centre. It is a convention complex located close to the Las Vegas Strip. The complex is adjoined with the Venetian and Palazzo resorts. It is often used as an overflow space for the Las Vegas Convention Centre. The venue opened in the year 1990 after receiving country approval the previous year. Since its opening, it has hosted many notable events, including THE JCK Show and AAPEX. 

The Sands Expo Convention Centre has a total event space of 2,250,000 ft2 (0.21 square kilometres). It can accommodate approximately 250,000 people within its 207 meeting areas. These areas include 5 expo halls, 4 ballrooms and several meeting rooms blocks. The meeting room blocks consist of a total of 96 meeting rooms. Additionally, there are 7 boardrooms, 30 restaurants and 3 theatres. The complex has various outdoor spaces, which include 6 pool decks. Besides the before-mentioned areas, there are 40 hospitality parlours/suites. There is furthermore a club lounge. The complex also includes 4 nightclubs as well as a studio.
