The Taipei World Trade Centre Nangang Exhibition Hall (TaiNEX) is one of Taiwan’s first event venues. It is an event complex consisting of two buildings with a total event space of 88209 m2. It has a total capacity of 68487 people. The complex has a total of 81 meeting areas located indoors and outdoors. The initial building, TaiNEX 1, opened in 2008. Since its founding, the venue has been a popular event location. Notable examples including the AutoTronics Taipei and Taipei Cycle.
The TaiNEX is composed of two buildings – TaiNEX 1 and TaiNEX 2. TaiNEX 1 was constructed and inaugurated in 2005 and contains 2 exhibition halls, 14 conference rooms as well as 17 public spaces. It additionally has 5 VIP rooms, a press centre and briefing room. Completing the building is 21 multi-purpose rooms. Of the 17 public spaces, 6 are outdoor spaces and 1 is a plaza. TaiNEX 2 was constructed in 2019 and is a 9-storey building. Like TaiNEX 1, it has 2 exhibition halls yet unlike its sibling, it has 7 conference rooms and 11 public spaces. TaiNEX 2 also has 2 VIP rooms and a briefing room in addition to its lounge and 2 organizer rooms.
