OTWorld 2024 spotlighted the latest advancements in prosthetics, orthotics, orthopaedic footwear technology, and rehabilitation. Cutting-edge solutions for para-athletes, war veterans, and disabled individuals will be on display, showcasing the strides made in creating high-tech, customized medical aids. One of the most anticipated areas of focus is the increasing use of 3D printing technology to produce tailored orthoses, prostheses, and insoles, marking a significant leap in patient-specific care. To highlight this growing trend, OTWorld dedicated a special exhibition area, OTWorld.3D, in Hall 1, where visitors explored the full range of applications for 3D printing in orthopaedic technology. The event featured special exhibitions focusing on orthopaedic treatment in crisis regions and care for neurological diseases, providing insights into how technology can address the most pressing healthcare needs worldwide.
