Upcoming Trade Shows Verona, Italy for Stone

The natural stone industry navigates a rapidly shifting global market, which has had a sizeable effect even on Verona’s market, which makes the upcoming 2025 edition of Marmomac truly instrumental for professionals, buyers and manufacturers to find their footing in the new status quo. From quarry to finished product, cutting-edge technology to artisanal craftsmanship, this exhibition keeps its fingers on the pulse of the entire global sector. Rooted in one of Italy’s most historic stone processing districts, Verona, Marmomac has grown into a global hub that unites the full spectrum of the stone industry. This year’s edition will focus on innovation, education, and the cross-disciplinary potential of stone in both traditional and contemporary contexts. Half of the exhibition area will serve as a platform for advanced machinery and marble sciences, where leading global companies will unveil their latest innovations in stone processing. Among the highlights is Epiphanies, a curated exhibition by designer Raffaello Galiotto, which demonstrates how human creativity can harmonize with mechanical precision to transform stone into expressive form. Meanwhile, The Plus Theatre returns with a fourth edition of talks, workshops, and exhibitions. This arena will explore the intersection of design, architecture, and artistic expression, offering visitors a chance to engage with new aesthetics and material experimentation. Inspired by Le Corbusier’s Plan Voisin, the 2025 layout will be organized as a ‘stone city’ that guides attendees through thematic routes connecting design, art, and industry. The Marmomac meets Academy initiative will culminate in Fabula Litica: The Enchanted Forest, an imaginative installation developed by over 15 international universities and research centers under the curation of Giuseppe Fallacara. Complementing this are ADI’s continued studies on modular stone design and Stone Next, an exhibition focused on next-generation technologies curated by Giorgio Canale. Marmomac treats stone as more than a commodity; it’s a foundational block of culture!
