The 'European Yacht of the Year' and 'European Powerboat of the Year' awards reward undisputed superiority in the yachting industry with winners selected by an expert jury comprising testing coordinators and editors-in-chief from Europe’s leading sailing and powerboating magazines. From a pool of approximately 100 new boats introduced annually, nominees are chosen, and after rigorous testing, the standout models are crowned champions. In the Family Cruiser category, the Bavaria C46 emerged victorious, earning praise for its exceptional quality and affordability. The Arcona 50 clinched the Luxury Cruiser category with its sleek design and impressive speed, earning accolades for its minimalist aesthetics and performance prowess. In the Multihulls category, the Outremer 52 took the spotlight, captivating judges with its versatile performance and spacious design. Marinus van Sijdenborg de Jong from ZEILEN praised its ability to serve as both a long-distance cruiser and a performance yacht. In addition to honoring outstanding vessels, FLAGSHIP NIGHT also recognized individuals making waves in the maritime community.
