It’s time for Hamburg’s yachting industry to get back on the radar after slowing down following the discontinuation of hanseboot. Yachtfestival365 GmbH has put their foot forward in revitalizing interest in the city’s maritime sector by organising the first ever Hamburg Yacht Festival, which is designed to become a pivotal meeting point and marketplace for boating enthusiasts along the Elbe and the North Sea. Heiko Zimmermann, the man behind the festival, emphasizes the goal of establishing the Hamburg Yacht Festival as a premier destination for boating enthusiasts. This year's event features a curated selection of boat brands, including Jeanneau, Dehler, Tide, Elling, and more. Notably, the Drago 750 will debut as a world premiere in the motorboat category, adding to the excitement of the festival. In addition to boat displays, the festival boasts a diverse range of service providers, equipment suppliers, and accessory vendors. Exhibitors such as Secumar, Lindemann and Pantaenius will showcase their products and services, offering attendees a comprehensive look at the latest innovations and offerings in the yachting industry. The Hamburg Yacht Festival has also prepared two stages to host a variety of activities, including trial sailing sessions for both children and adults organized by the German Sailing Association (DSV). E-surfing, an up-and-coming trend sport, takes center stage with show rides and test opportunities courtesy of exhibitor Mo-Jet. In addition, the festival prioritizes education and safety with the cruiser department club’s Safety Days that will feature informative lectures aimed at both motorboat drivers and sailors of all skill levels. As the Hamburg Yacht Festival prepares to set sail on its maiden voyage, attendees can expect an immersive experience filled with excitement, education, and opportunities to connect with fellow boating enthusiasts.
