Upcoming Trade Shows Istanbul, Turkey for Automobile - Automotive Industry

Istanbul has its place on the Turkish automotive landscape as the site of the first car production facility in the country back in 1929, when Ford Motors manufactured the first-ever car in Turkey. Since then the city has housed Ford Otosan, one of the country’s bigger car manufacturers, and is home to several research centres. As the automotive industry enters a new era of sustainable tech and industry 4.0 innovations, Istanbul continues to be a driving force thanks to its rich history, a commitment to innovation, and a prominent presence on the global stage. One way Istanbul has been able to build on top of its legacy is by becoming headquarters for an offshoot edition of the Automechanika brand. Automechanika Istanbul has been making waves on a national and international level for the past two decades. Most recently, the 2023 edition set up the stage for the next generation of automotive breakthroughs through “Innovation4Mobility by BAKIRCI” special area. The special area cast the spotlight on companies driving the field of electric vehicles. Participants showcased the newest methods and techniques for electric vehicle repairs. Across 8 sections, visitors were able to educate themselves on the latest in Body & Paint, Expertise & Inspection, ADAS & Diagnostics, Charging Stations, Chassis Repair, Axle Measurement & Tire, Mechanical Maintenance & Safety Equipment, Battery Test & Repair.
