Messe Friedrichshafen

Messe Friedrichshafen holds the distinction of being the biggest exhibition centre in the region of Baden-Wuerttemberg and is also known as one with the most modern facilities. It’s significantly younger than other venues in Germany with the start of construction in 2000 and grand opening in July 2002. The exhibition centre sits in the Northern part of the city near the airport and offers 12 halls to use that amass to a total exhibition space of 85,000 m² (915,000 sq. ft.). In addition, there’s open-air exhibition area totaling 12,000 m² (129,000 sq. ft.). Hall A1 alone has the capacity to hold up to 10,000 visitors and Hall A2 can be reconfigured into three separate modules. We also can’t forget to mention to the congress and series of modern meeting rooms, which only prove just how versatile Messe Friedrichshafen is as a host venue.

The proof of this is in the numbers. Per year, there are on average 15 to 17 international trade fairs and exhibitions, which are well recognized and highly relevant for their industries. You’re sure to recognize the following names – OutDoor (which also happens to be the very first exhibition ever held in 2002), EUROBIKE, Fakuma, IBO, Aqua-Fisch and INTERBOOT. With 8500 parking spaces dedicated to visitors and exhibitors, Messe Friedrichshafen is fully prepared for large turnouts and it’s not doing too bad either. According to current statistics, there are 6000 exhibitors and 600,000 international visitors, who pass through its halls every year on average.
