About The Venue

Before it was known as Olympia London today, this popular exhibition centre went under a totally different name – the National Agricultural Hall. It was originally built in 1886, thus making it one of the oldest exhibition centres, event spaces and conference centres in Europe. The centre stands in West Kensington and is connected to public transport through London Underground, London Overground and the National Rail Kensington. Olympia London has undergone two expansions – once in 1987 and another one in 2011. Today, it can host smaller events with a total capacity of 10,000 people at one time. Naturally, the superior infrastructure and abundance of accommodation make the exhibition centre one of the most desirable exhibition grounds in London.

The centre’s management confirm that over 200 events take place on an annual basis in Olympia London, once the latest renovation and modernization occurred back in 2013. It was the biggest alteration to the premises and cost £40 million to achieve, but in the end Olympia London opened with a fresh brand and modern facilities. At the same time, the centre stays true to its long history and visitors can feel it once they enter. This earned the company running it the Best Marketing Campaign at the Exhibition News Awards 2014. Since the modernization, the exhibition centre is host to some of the biggest events in the UK. The list includes Great British Beer Festival, BBC Good Food Show, Toy Fair, UCAS Design Your Future, Marketing Week Live, Olympia London International Horse Show, International Art & Antiques Fair and National Wedding Show.
