FeuerTrutz trade fair and congress offers the fire protection industry in Nuremberg a dedicated space to stay in step with trends in fire prevention and protection and network with professionals from other countries. Held every June, the event attracts a diverse array of trade visitors, buyers, and professionals, all seeking to stay at the forefront of fire protection advancements. FeuerTrutz 2024 proved why it’s pivotal for the fire protection industry by featuring a comprehensive range of products and solutions. Exhibitors displayed cutting-edge technologies in wall constructions, facades, ceilings, doors, seals, ventilation systems, smoke extraction systems, and alarm detection systems. This extensive showcase provided attendees with a detailed view of structural, system-related, and organizational fire protection solutions, reflecting the latest trends and innovations in the field. This year, FeuerTrutz introduced the DIGITALIZATION IN PRACTICE forum, which featured 4 exhibit areas dedicated to practical digitalization solutions. This forum highlighted the industry’s shift towards integrating digital technologies to enhance fire protection measures. The Fire Protection EXPERIENCE continued to be a major draw as it offers trade visitors demonstrations both outdoors and at individual exhibition stands, and showcases real-world applications of fire protection technologies. The startups@FeuerTrutz joint stand saw immediate growth, going from 4 to 15 exhibitors. These startups brought fresh perspectives and novel solutions. The Fire Protection Congress, a central feature of FeuerTrutz, tackled pressing issues in preventive fire protection. Topics included updates on building regulations, risks associated with PV systems on German roofs, safe and legal construction with wood in building class 5, and the role of preventive fire protection in sustainable construction. Approximately 40 experts shared their insights, engaging with participants to address contemporary challenges and future trends in fire protection. At the end of its most recent edition, FeuerTrutz cemented itself once again as the heart of the fire protection industry in Nuremberg.
