Looking ahead, the company plans to acquire five additional injection machines within the next year, which translates to a substantial 20% increase in production capacity. Geka, part of the Swiss Group Sulzer, mirrors the positive outlook for the industry. The factory in Bechhofen, located just a few kilometers away, is on a growth trajectory, demonstrating that the Nuremberg region is bustling with beauty-related activities. At Faber Castell Cosmetics, based near Nuremberg, their cosmetic business unit is thriving. Out of a global workforce of over 7500 employees, nearly 800 are part of the cosmetic division. In the past year, this unit achieved double-digit sales growth, showcasing its significant contribution to the group's overall success. The Managing Director, Christina Zech, emphasized the company's commitment to harmonizing textures across production sites and expanding their global reach. Furthermore, they are working on innovative packaging solutions and tailored formulas for various formats. These thriving companies are a testament to Nuremberg's growing influence in the global beauty industry, highlighting the innovation and dedication that continue to drive its success.
