Upcoming Trade Shows Nurnberg, Germany for Metal Working Industries

EUROGUSS, the largest international trade fair for die casting, keeps the focus squarely on the metalworking industry in Nuremberg. Editions gather together industry leaders, innovators, and fresh talent to discuss the future of die casting as well as showcase the latest developments in aluminium, magnesium, and zinc die casting. With a product lineup that extends from CNC machines to rapid prototyping and 3D printing, EUROGUSS has cemented its place as the leading forum for die casting innovation and collaboration. One of the defining themes of the 2025 fair will be sustainability in supply chains, as regulatory demands push foundries to embrace more eco-friendly practices. The “Sustainability in the Casting Industry – Quo Vadis?” event will address the challenges posed by Germany’s Supply Chain Act (LkSG), with Professor Matthias Fifka from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and industry leaders discussing the best paths to decarbonize the die casting process. The 23rd Die Casting Conference is another highly-anticipated event at EUROGUSS 2026, especially by players in Nuremberg’s metalworking industry. Chaired by Hartmut Fischer of the Association of German Die Casting Foundries (VDD), the conference will feature 26 presentations on the latest technological and material advances, including trends in digitalisation, lightweight construction, and giga-casting. Also returning this year will be the European Die Casting Competition, which celebrates the best cast components across aluminium, zinc, and magnesium categories. The winners—BMW AG Landshut (aluminium), HDO Druckguss- und Oberflächentechnik GmbH (zinc), and TCG UNITECH GmbH (magnesium)—showcased the potential of modern die casting to deliver lightweight, high-performance solutions. EUROGUSS 2026 will double down on its efforts in developing and retaining young talent as the industry at large grapples with skilled workforce shortages. EUROGUSS will host its first Student Day, featuring keynotes, lectures, and tours to introduce students to die casting.
