Upcoming Trade Shows Milan, Italy for Air-Conditioning
MCE 2026, Milan, Italy
24 - 27 Mar 2026
Milan’s air conditioning industry has entered a brand new era thanks to the arrival of DiversiTech, which has successfully extended its international reach to Europe. The prominent US HVACR component manufacturer, has taken a significant step in its global expansion strategy with the formation of DiversiTech Europe. This move follows the successful acquisition of three esteemed European component brands, marking a substantial entrance into the European HVACR market. The acquisition includes Belgium-based Castel Engineering along with its affiliated companies, Artiplastic of Milan, and Rodigas of Padua. The collaboration of these entities, along with the existing DiversiTech/Pump House business in the UK, aims to create a base for DiversiTech’s operations in Europe. Artiplastic has been a mainstay in local manufacturing and is generally well regarded for its approach to innovation, diverse product portfolio and global leadership in the HVACR component industry.
The trio of companies – Artiplastic, Castel, and Rodigas – are renowned for manufacturing a diverse range of plastic and metal components crucial to the HVACR industries. Their product offerings span air conditioning supports and bracketry, plastic ducts, condensate trays and pipes, and plastic components for cold rooms. Despite being part of the DiversiTech umbrella, each company will maintain its individual brand identity and continue under their existing management structures.
DiversiTech CEO Andy Bergdoll expressed the significance of this move, not just for establishing DiversiTech in Europe but also for the added value these companies bring to customers, especially in North America. The expanded portfolio is expected to enhance the company’s stand in the HVACR market, but it also means an extended role for Artiplastic. The new conglomerate will operate with eight manufacturing plants strategically located in the US and Europe, strengthening its global presence. Artiplastic, in particular, has been a key player in Milan since 1973 by specializing in plastic materials transformation for industrial sectors.
