A major highlight of the event was the presentation of the opti SUSTAINABILITY AWARD, which was awarded to Andreas Schmidt from Augenblick Brillen Kontaktlinsen. The company has made significant strides in reducing its ecological footprint by implementing sustainable practices such as using LEDs and motion detectors and replacing direct water connections with a closed system. This award shines light on the valuable work towards achieving sustainability and promotes sustainable practices industry wide. Another notable moment was the awarding of the third opti BOX AWARD to the Danish label SKANS – EYEWEAR WITH IMPACT. SKANS embodies the principles of sustainability and innovation.
