A significant highlight of CosmeticBusiness 2023 was the emphasis on sustainable product solutions. The three fully-booked exhibition halls were abuzz with brands presenting innovations that reflected the industry’s gradual embrace of eco-friendly practices, which are now key factors for consumers to choose products. It was a winning showcase of creative approaches to sustainable approaches, which will define the next stage of cosmetics manufacturing. The international nature of CosmeticBusiness was evident with trade visitors travelling to Munich from 43 countries. This global participation showcased the event’s stature as a premier industry gathering. The conference program, themed routes, and the Spotlight novelty show offered a wealth of inspiration for product development.
Markus Geisenberger expressed satisfaction with CosmeticBusiness’ continued success. The three fully-booked exhibition halls, over 70 new exhibitors, and numerous start-ups underscored the event’s place in the cosmetics industry. CosmeticBusiness has become a pivotal fixture in the trade show calendar, serving as the main event for the cosmetics industry. The trade fair stands out by seamlessly incorporating every aspect of cosmetics manufacturing and packaging under one roof. The expanded exhibition area, covering ingredients, manufacturing, and packaging, represented the industry's entire value chain. With 11,000 m² of exhibition space – a 25% increase from the previous edition – the event demonstrated its potential.
