Munich becomes the mecca of the gemstone and jewellery industry every February when Messe München hosts INHORGENTA. The prestigious trade fair removes borders within the gemstones market and builds bridges. Under the bold theme BOLD, the most recent edition delivered on the promise of creativity, knowledge, and networking opportunities, making it an unmissable highlight for industry professionals. As the fair hit 50, it unveiled an expansive supporting program, which reflected its evolution into Europe’s premier business platform. With over 900 exhibitors from 40 countries, INHORGENTA is the true definition of a melting pot of ideas, trends and innovations. You can’t hit such a big milestone year without shaking things up a bit and the 50th anniversary of INHORGENTA featured six special exhibitions and over 50 experts from Europe, Africa, America and Asia that told a comprehensive story, charting the past, present and future of jewelry, watches, and gemstones. Front and centre was the INHORGENTA TRENDFACTORY 2024, where most of the conferences, lectures, and panel discussions took place. Established names detailed the storied history of gemstones and their relevance, while a different section of the programme took time to investigate cutting-edge advancements in AI and e-commerce. A stellar lineup of over 35 industry luminaries, including renowned jewelry designers, journalists and thought leaders, shared their insights. From Helen Molesworth of the Victoria and Albert Museum to Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri of the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO), the roster embodied the event’s global reach. The biggest hits? The master class series with influencers such as Katerina Perez and panel discussions on emerging trends and markets. The Wedding World in Hall B2 made hot entertainment highlights come alive and the esteemed wedding planner Frank ""Froonck"" Matthée lent his expertise as Master of Ceremonies.
